Forbes Plans To Launch Dominican Republic and Central America Editions in 2014

Forbes Central America will be distributed in six countries, including Costa Rica, Guatemala, Panama, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua

NEW YORK (March 13, 2014) – Forbes announced today its expansion into the Latin American market with plans to launch editions in the Dominican Republic and Central America in March 2014 in partnership with Media Business Generators (MBG). Both editions will be available on newsstands in late March.

To launch Forbes Dominican Republic and reveal the magazine’s first cover, the CEO of Forbes LATAM Max Linares, Forbes President of LATAM Mariano Menendez, and Vice President of LATAM Mr. Marco Landucci and Vice President of Americas Mr. Edward De Valle II plan to host an exclusive event on Thursday, March 13 on the rooftop of the Torre Corporativo in Santo Domingo.

The new Dominican Republic and Central America editions will feature local content from the local editorial teams, as well as international stories from around the world. Once launched, each edition will also have a local website. Forbes Central America will be distributed in six countries, including Costa Rica, Guatemala, Panama, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua. With these new editions, Forbes will reach audiences in a total of 10 Latin American countries, including México, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panamá, Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Dominican Republic published in partnership with Media Business Generators, as well as Brazil published by BPP LTDA and Argentina published by Grupo Veintitres.
